Partner-delivered catalogue is served in the BTR Music app and is eligible across search, artist pages, genre browse, charts, recommendations, sharing and other discovery surfaces, subject to the deal terms and territories you supply.

Rights authority is a condition of delivery. Partners must hold, or be authorised by the rights holder to grant, the rights to deliver and monetise each recording in every territory supplied. This is confirmed at application and warranted under the BTR Partner Terms.
Independent artists have a separate route. Artists who control their own music upload directly through Beats To Rap On . This page is for catalogue delivery at distributor, label and rights-holder level.
Standards-based catalogue delivery
Deliver the way you already deliver to every other DSP. BTR ingests DDEX ERN over SFTP and exposes a REST Partner API for partners that integrate directly. Inserts, updates, takedowns and redeliveries are processed automatically on receipt.
Release, resource, deal and party data as ERN messages. ERN 4.3 and 3.8.2 are accepted with standard choreography. Supported profiles and validation rules are published in the developer docs.
Per-partner SFTP endpoints for ERN packages, audio and artwork. Credentials are issued and rotated in the partner portal.
Programmatic release submission, delivery status, catalogue queries and takedowns. Authentication, rate limits and the full reference live at partners.btrmusic.com/developers.
Lossless audio and release artwork delivered alongside metadata. Accepted formats and dimensions are specified in the developer docs.
Every batch and submission is tracked from receipt through validation, QC and live in the partner portal, with the reason for any hold.
Metadata, rights and deal terms
BTR operates delivered catalogue on the release, rights and deal information you supply. The following is validated on ingest.
- ISRC per sound recording.
- UPC / EAN per release.
- Display artists, contributors and roles at release and recording level.
- Label name, P-line and C-line.
- Release date, original release date and availability windows.
- Deal terms: territories, commercial models and use types.
- Genre, language and parental-advisory (explicit) flags.
- Rights-owner and ownership changes via update messages.
Deliveries that fail validation are not silently rejected. They are held with a QC flag showing the field and the reason, and you resolve or redeliver from the partner portal.

Delivery is the start. Every downstream operation runs through the same pipe.
